Dragon City, hok mok is the name of the dish, pla stands for fish. Sometimes there are Hok Mok Talay, which is sea food...
CarCar, is like curry cooked with fish paste and put it inside the cocunut to burn it and get the coconut taste..Nowadays seldom post food pictures as too tied up in work hence no time to go back to thailand...as normally I will only eat out in Bangkok..
Dragon City, forgot to add, hok mok means is something wrap with everything in it....

hi soohk,
the food pixs u took in bangkok looks yummy! any eateries/ restaurant recommendations in bangkok? i would be there year end, staying near one of the BTS station. Hope u are free to reply. Thanks
SC, if you are staying at BTS, try going to one place near Sala Daeng Station. You can exit right (Depending which side you are on) but I believe is Silom Complex and head straight down to the lowest floor and look for a restaurant called banana leaf...
thanks soohk, will make sure I pop over there! :)
SC, you are welcome
